Changing your plan

Go to Billing & Plans in the sidebar (bottom of sidebar, Settings icon). This opens the Stripe-hosted billing portal where you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel.

What happens when you hit a plan limit

Beets beyond your plan’s limit are locked. Locked beets:

  • Still receive and record events
  • Do not generate alerts
  • Show a red padlock in the sidebar

Upgrade your plan to unlock them.

Cancellation

Cancel anytime from the billing portal. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, your account reverts to Free plan limits.

Past due payments

If a payment fails, your subscription moves to past_due status. A warning badge appears in the sidebar. Resolve the payment method in the billing portal to restore full access.

Enterprise billing

Enterprise plans are negotiated directly. Contact us at hello@heartbeet.downfall24.com to discuss requirements, custom contract terms, and SLA guarantees.

Admin plan override

Administrators can change any organisation’s plan without going through Stripe, directly from the /admin dashboard. This is intended for testing and support purposes only — it does not create or modify any Stripe subscription records.
